Registering a domain name and hosting one is usually mistaken by many people to be one and the same thing. They are actually 2 separate services - the domain registration is the actual name and nothing else, while the hosted domains feature shows the number of already registered domain names that you can accommodate in the same hosting account and have site files and emails for them. Your sites will work in exactly the same way regardless if the domains are registered and hosted in one place or are registered with company A and directed to company B. Simply registering a domain name without hosting it will give you ownership, but will not allow you to have a web site until you host this domain in some account so that records for it are created and it starts opening the content from that account.

Hosted Domains in Cloud Hosting

With our cloud hosting you'll be able to host a different number of domain addresses, no matter whether you register them through our company or using some other service provider. If you host only a couple of domain names, you'll probably use a smaller amount of resources, so you can go for a lower-end plan, that will be more affordable. If you want to add more domain names in your account at some point, you can add more slots using your website hosting CP and keep the current plan or you can upgrade the whole plan and employ the additional system resources for the new domain addresses. Either one of the upgrades requires only a few clicks and is activated immediately. Since registering and hosting a domain name are two different things, there's no limit how many domain addresses you are able to register regardless of the plan you’ve signed up for.

Hosted Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

Since our Linux semi-dedicated packages are really powerful, we have decided not to set any limit on the number of the domains that you can host if you purchase such a plan. This feature is unrestricted by default, not on demand or following some upgrade, therefore it is up to you how many domains you'll add and how you'll employ the resources of your semi-dedicated hosting account. The plans are managed via our in-house built Hepsia hosting CP which will permit you to see and manage all hosted domains from a single location, removing the need to go through different accounts as you'll have to do with all other web hosting Control Panels. Additionally, there is no limit how many domain names you are able to register or transfer and it is your choice how many of them you will host in the account.

Hosted Domains in VPS

Our VPS can be employed to host unlimited domain names regardless of the hosting Control Panel that you pick during the ordering procedure. You'll get ample system resources to use, so you can decide how many domains are going to use them. If you get the VPS with cPanel, you'll be able to create an individual hosting account for each domain and we do not have a set limit for the number of accounts that you can create. If you select our Hepsia Control Panel, all domains are going to be controlled through one account i.e. there will not be a main domain address and add-on domains as with the other Control Panels. The second alternative may be more convenient if you don't need to grant access to a certain domain to other people and you don't want to switch between accounts to control the domain names that you host on the server. Furthermore, any new domain address which you register using Hepsia will be hosted automatically on the server without you having to do anything manually afterwards.
